Growing up Anthony Sebro attended Catholic school most of his life, until he went to the historical first black teaching college, Cheyney University, in which he was always participating in social activities from student government to any activities that caused a gathering on in the publics eye. During that time frame he hung out with all of the neighborhood Whos Who in Mount Vernon, NY, including Dwight Myers (Heavy D), Pete & Cory (Pete Rock & CL Smooth) to Michael Phillips (Hidden Beach Recordings), Groovy Lew (Formally of Bad Boy Records).
Anthonys official start in the music industry began when he became a professional dancer for recording artist Black Sheep, Vanessa Williams, Rampage, Ed OG & the Bull Dogs to Mariah Carey, and Janet Jackson. With the guidance of Chub Rock dancer, Hot Dog, Anthony ended up working at PolyGram Records as a consultant then his career expanded from consulting to marketing promotions for Island DefJam, Bad Boys Entertainment and Tommy Boy Records. He later Co-produced his first independent project Double Dose which made a huge buzz in New York and gained the attention of CEO of Bad Boys Entertainment, Sean Diddy Combs on the last episode on Yo MTV Raps where he recognized the group efforts. Mr. Sebro credits include executive producer, video director, and business consultant. His consulting firm VIA Music Group, Inc has over 10 years experience specializes in marketing and promotion, event planning, and artist development. In addition has worked on the Barbados Gospel Festival, NBA All-Star events and after parties, music videos for Busta Rhymes, Cru, to Dead Prez, and labels Pirate Entertainment, Arista, Island DefJam, Bad Boys Entertainment, and Tommy Boy Records. He has also developed a non-profit organization for single mothers called The S.A.W.S Foundation. Look for his new enterprise Executive Sitters, which will be launching in the fall of 2010. Mr. Sebro has worked on major projects for Ruff Endz (Epic/Sony) and No-Limits Billionaire Boy, Silkk the Shocker. Having the initial experience and the spirit of entrepreneurship, Mr. Sebro stepped out in 2008 and started his own entertainment & sports service company called BTG Entertainment. Anthony is currently the CEO of BTG Entertainment and has an executive team in place with partners Anderson GOLD Kolahal and Irvin B. I. Bryant. In addition, BTG Entertainment has partnered up with Hitman Records Inc. for major retail and digital distribution. BTG Entertainment has signed R&B sensation REDWINE, and hip hop artist E.N.Y., & MINDBENDA and is currently working with Grammy Award winner Teddy Riley and the phenomenal producer Ike Lee to name a few.
